The countdown is on with Mandurah Forum announcing today that its first major retail stage including a brand new Target, fresh food market hall and more than 60 new specialty stores will be open their doors on Thursday 27 July.

Centre Manager, Jacqueline McKenzie said: “The new Mandurah Forum will be unlike anything the local community has experienced before – it will be a true one stop destination that caters for the whole family with exciting new fresh food, fashion and lifestyle offerings.”

For the upcoming launch Mandurah Forum and an array of brands will be celebrating across four days with events, entertainment and fantastic special in-store offers from Thursday 27 July to Sunday 30 July.

“We’re thrilled to invite everyone along to our launch party and we can’t wait to open our doors at 8am on Thursday 27 July and see new and loyal customers explore their beautiful, modern centre with the best everyday shopping experience in the Peel region,” Ms McKenzie added.

With a new market hall offering a variety of healthy fresh produce, one of Western Australia’s most popular chefs, Anna Gare, will be sharing recipe ideas and whipping up a storm for shoppers to taste and enjoy on Saturday 29 July.

With Mandurah Fresh, Wild Sea Australian Seafood, The Butcher and His Wife, Bakers Delight, Miss Mauds, Muffin Break and Sushi Sushi all in one convenient location, customers will get also inspiration with daily cooking demonstrations and delicious tastings throughout opening celebrations.

To sustain themselves mid-shop guests will be treated to complimentary sweet treats and refreshment, live entertainment will entertain the crowds and a concierge crew will be on hand to help shoppers to their cars.

Pop-Up Glam Stations will provide visitors with the chance to try products and services including complimentary express beauty treatments and hair styling trends with roving fashion shows also showcasing the latest looks on offer for Mandurah Forum’s newest retailers.

Kids will enjoy a host of entertainment with daily visits from Captain Barnacle from Octonauts, and little nature lovers will have the chance to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s most fascinating and misunderstood creatures thanks to Critters Up Close.

There will also be festivities throughout the centre with loads of family favourites including face painting, balloon artists and fairy floss.

It is estimated that Mandurah Forum’s redevelopment will create 1,000 jobs during construction and more than 700 ongoing retail, hospitality and service jobs at the completed centre.

Mandurah Forum is co-owned by Vicinity Centres and ISPT.
