This weekend one lucky shopper walked away with the grand prize from Mandurah Forum’s Heart of the South competition that kicked off as part of the centre’s first major retail stage which opened in July.

Local customer Barry Newton drew the top prize walking away with a $2,000 voucher to spend at Mandurah Forum.

Another 99 lucky customers also took home a range of prizes with each winner drawing their prize from the symbolic heart display.

When reflecting on his win Mr Newton said, “I’ve never won a thing! I had a dream the other night that I used my left and selected a heart in the middle, so that’s exactly what I did!”

Centre Manager, Jacqueline McKenzie said: “This competition and our eye-catching in-centre display showed our customers that Mandurah Forum is the new Heart of the South.”

“Our range of prizes, from centre vouchers to a Samsung Galaxy tablet from Telstra, give shoppers the chance to experience some of our new and returning retailers that now call Mandurah Forum home” Ms McKenzie added.

Mandurah Forum now offers something for the whole family with a new Target store, a fresh food market hall and more than 60 specialty stores offering fashion and lifestyle brands and all the services customers need, in one convenient location.
